WCW Nitro

This game sucks. So dont buy it. You can stop reading this review if you want, cuz you shouldnt even rent this game. But anyways, this is a wrestling game with 64 characters, 48 of them being hidden. To unlock them, you have to win the tournament mode with each character. The control on this game suck, and the graphics arent much better. Sound is below average. Everything you buy a game for is not here. If you remember this game came out 1 year ago for the playstation, its barely changed, and now you can buy it for 60 bucks a pop. What a deal. There are many modes, over 30 moves to use for each character, multiple rings, and you can use the rumble pack and memory pack.

Graphics- The wrestlers look decent, actually. But when they get into motion they are jerky and the animation is glitchy. The textures are some of the worst in a 64 game also. The crowd is a gray blob.

Gameplay- The most important part of this game is horrible. Moving aroung is clunky, and the controls are unresponsive. There is no practice mode to learn the more complicated moves. The game gets rid of the grappling system from Revenge/World Tour that we loved so much, and put in a warzone type grapple, with very little moves when compared with Revenge. This game is just so THQ can make more money before they lose the WCW license to EA Sports this year. Buy Revenge.

Sound- Nothing worth hearing. The thuds and groans are average at best. The music is nothing more than guitar riffs that are muffled and uninteresting.

Replay Value- With 64 characters to get, you would think it would be high. But because this game sucks so much, its a pain in the ass to spend that much time trying to get them all. The multiplayer is more confusing than fun with the strange controls this game has.

My Personal Thoughts- I played this game for about 5 minutes and went back to my copy of Revenge. This game sucks its the worst suckity suck sucked wrestling game that ever sucked. And thats about it.
