Gameplay: I found that the gameplay on this game was very well thought out. It has a Great Pitcher/Hitter interface and the controlling for the Pitcher/Hitter is as smooth as my ass. In the field running around, diving for the ball, and jumping is a very easy thing to do. Only sometimes the game gets the message that your diving a little slow and you miss a ball, no biggie. But, when your running, I never ever figured out how to make only one batter run and the other stay. Or the batter go back and other go, too bad it doesn't say in the Instruction Manual which, is very useless how to do this. Other than that it all seems very well done.

Graphics: Absolutely Awful!!! Oh my GOD! They are sooooooo good! By far being the best on the system. Even better than Turok 2 and Star Wars; Rogue Squadron. I found that the Pitching/Batting interface is the most bestest thing ever!!! They are so detailed, from their heartbeat, to the Faces actually (Sorta) Looking real! The only problem there is the swinging, crappy, no other way about it! The outfield game is really good too! Except for the fact that when a guy isn't moving, they just stand there bent over, and that wrecks the whole feeling that you're "In the ballpark." Being a really big Baseball fan I look for these types of things. The ballparks are rendered with perfection and I couldn't even tell them apart, and with ASB 2000's ballparks looking even better? We are definitely in for an awesome treat!

Sound: Also very good! Play-by-Play, like you're really in the watching a game on the t.v. while John Sterling and Michael Kaye bring you the info on the game. But sometimes their one-liners get repetitious, causing you to mute the game. But hey! It's better than Ken Griffey's no commentary. The crowd isn't nearly as good as griffeys though, with no special audience or audience that doesn't come (There's always a full house, even when there isn't supposed to be). Other than that there are the usual Smack of the bat, the sound of the ball getting caught and a few others.

Replay Value: Very high! Not Mario Party high or Ringo Star high but pretty high. Playing a season with your own players that you created in the games fantastic Player Creation mode is just plain fun, there's no two ways about it. Even just playing an exibition with yourself or with a friend is fun (probably the funnest) the worst thing that they should have concentrated on more was better Home Run Derby. It takes 10 minutes for your guy to come out each Round and 10 minutes to hit a homerun!!! What the hell is that! I wish they made it with better camera angles like Griffeys, or at least made it go faster. UGHHHH!!! I can usually go make and eat lunch before the guy makes it to the plate.

Overall: A very solid game, great graphics, great sound, great game! I think this is definitely the best Baseball game on the system (With the next batch of games to come out, it may not stay that way) I think this is a good choice for someone who likes Sports Games. Good job Acclaim!
