Gameplay Is this game truely a Mario 64 clone? No. Is it better than Mario 64? Yes. Rare has improved everything, and it shows. The game is much more addicting than Mario 64, even though it ends quickly. There are 24 moves to learn, which are all easily pulled off. The point of the game is to collect 10 Jiggys in each level and in the central world. These Jiggys are obtained be solving puzzles, exploring for Jinjos, and collecting 100 musical notes. Musical notes also open doors in the central world. In all there are 100 Jiggys and 900 musical notes. That may seem like alot, but the game is VERY easy so you won't break a sweat. What I loved most was the ability to change into diferent animals like a termite, walrus, a bee, umong others.
Graphics If it's made by Rare, it has to have great graphics. The game's beautiful, these are definately some of the best graphics on any system. Yeah, the characters are cute, but still beatiful. There's no slowdown at all, and the characters move around so fluidly it's amazing. I just don't know how Rare does it.
Sound The characters don't have voices, but they do have grunts, hiccups, and farts in place of them. Whenever you go to a new area, the music fades and changes. It's actually pretty cool. The overall music is catchy and rythmic. I especially like the music in the Egiption level.
Replay Value You won't be able to put the controller down...... until you beat it. The game is just too easy, and you could probably beat it in about a week. After that, you probably won't come back to play again.
Overall It's definatly better than Mario 64, too bad it's so short. Still, it's a definate must buy.
